I am Anjan Phukan from Sivasagar district, Assam presently based in the heart of Delhi.

To be an expert in any walk of life I believe that ethics are very important and this is what I practice in both my personal and professional life. Being and having an extrovert nature, I love to talk to people and engage myself. Instead of worrying about what I cannot control, I shift my energy to what I can create. I believe in treasuring small and simple moments of joy, celebrating as well as respecting small victories of overcoming limitations, struggles and so on. I do what matters most to me and do what makes me feel alive and happy.

I am Furzee Kashyap born in the beautiful place- Dibrugarh in Assam.

I am the second child of my parents. Although an ambivert by nature, I centre on humanistic interests and approaches from a very young age, which still continues. I like to help others and operate best when I follow my feelings and sense of compassion and allow myself to be sensitive to the needs of others. Parents, friendship, affection and love are extremely important for me. Wherever my story takes me, however dark and difficult the theme, there is always some hope and redemption that stays with me. For me vibes speak louder than words.

Timeline

3rd October 2005 : The "Missed Call"

It all started 12 years back. He punched a number in his phone and waits until he hears the other line pick up but the call was missed. She saw the unknown number in her phone. Tough hesitant, but out of curiousity she called back. She had no idea who he was but heard a voice saying "I am sorry it was a wrong number!". The next day she received a text saying "Hope you are fine. I apologise about yesterday. Can I wait for your reply?" and that was the beginning.
4th March 2006 : The First Meet

For a period of 6 months, chats and calls were the only means that kept both connected. And one fine day he decided to travel to the city where she was staying and meet her. Early morning a time was fixed to see each other. It was around 8 o'clock and she was waiting for her school bus to come. Both never shared a picture with each other and so were completely unaware how they look. Both happened to cross each other in front a famous bakery Eggs’O-tic in Guwahati, but couldn’t recognise each other. A message came after a few seconds "I think I saw you..." and that was the first glance for both.
2007 Onwards : The Committed Long-distance Relationship

After her 12th, she travelled to Delhi for her higher studies leaving him in Assam. Devastated both were. But the love kept growing each day; they had someone for each other with whom they could share everything happening in their lives. In each other they found that one person who was really worth the sacrifices, pain, and hardships and for whom their efforts never got wasted. Distance meant so little for them which helped them to cross the phase, a wave where they were the perfect couple but were just not in the perfect situation. Still they both continued to inspire and motivate each other, working (and partying) their hardest and setting goals that would benefit them in the future. Time flew by but their love grew day-by-day and never faded, and they were committed to each other for 10 years after that first missed call. Probably, absence made their heart grow fonder!!
October 2015 : When Mom and Dad said "YES"

So finally after 10 years of their relationship they were successful in convincing their parents with a "YES" to bond into the journey of marriage. Struggles persisted throughout this phase for approximately 9 years but everything was so worth. It was beautiful to know that their parents accepted both of them with an open heart finally.
August 2016 : The Family Visits

Finally the day came when the families met.... and it was destined forever. It was a rollercoaster of experiences and memories created from laughter, pain and aspirations between two people. Their love was a journey, starting at forever and ending at never.

Bride's Reception

Reception will take place before the wedding ceremony. I will dress up and will wait for the blessings from the guest who will visit us on our big day. This event will also take place in my place of residence at Dibrugarh. My family will wait at the doorstep to welcome all guests.

The Wedding

Once he reaches the wedding venue, he will be showered with rice grains. I will miss this fun as I will be getting ready for the wedding after I dress up in the attire gifted by him and his family. There will be a sweet competition between my side and his side where his best man will try hard to protect him using an umbrella when my relatives throw rice on him. After this fun activity, my mom will receive and welcome him by giving kisses on his cheeks. My sister will wash his feet before he enters into the wedding ritual space, I am pretty sure she will demand something heavy from him and eventually will start the main wedding rituals.

I am pretty sure Papa that you will bless us on this day, when your little daughter will get married. I wish, you welcome your soon-to-be son-in-law from heaven.

The marriage will start as I will be dressed up in traditional Dhoti, Kurta and Cheleng Chadar. I will wear an Indian Basil Wreath around my head..... Ohhh good Lord!!! I was waiting for this day so badly. I am so eager to see her in her beautiful wedding attire.

Groom's Reception

Soon after the wedding, the next morning the most painful part for her will come but I am sure she will be able to fulfil all aspiration of my family as soon as she enters my home. The next day, in presence of the bride a reception will take place at my residence on where we – the newly wedded couple will seek blessing from elders and good wishes from friends and family.
